From April 14th to 15th, the National Market Supervision System Quality Development Work Conference was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The meeting comprehensively summarized the quality development work in 2020 and the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, and studied and deployed the "14th Five-Year Plan" and 2021 key tasks. Tian Shihong, member of the party group of the State Administration for Market Regulation, deputy director, and director of the National Standards Committee attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting pointed out that during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, with the joint efforts of quality departments at all levels across the country, quality policies have been improved day by day, quality mechanisms have been continuously improved, and international quality exchanges and cooperation have been continuously deepened. In 2020, the national quality development front will go all out to carry out in-depth quality improvement actions, promote the construction of a quality country, and accurately and orderly assist enterprises to resume work and production, and various tasks have achieved remarkable results.

The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to accurately grasp the overall requirements of quality work in the new era, to follow Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the guide, grasp the new development stage, implement the new development concept, and serve to build a new development pattern, based on the "big market, large quality, large Supervision” to promote quality reforms in economic development, improve the quality policy system, improve the quality work mechanism, coordinate quality development and quality safety, carry out in-depth quality improvement actions, fully release the synergies of quality infrastructure, and steadily promote the construction of a quality power country.

The meeting requested that the national quality development front should be driven by party history learning and education, and go all out to complete this year's quality development work, pay close attention to compiling the outline for building a quality country, explore the establishment of a central quality inspection mechanism, conduct in-depth quality improvement actions, and run China with high quality. The Quality (Hangzhou) Conference, organized the 4th China Quality Award, organized the national "Quality Month" activities, and celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party with excellent results.
